Before Toho Studios of Japan started production on their famous 1954 monster movie Godzilla, the studio sculptors prepared various maquette versions to aid them in defining the appearance of the final monster costume. Recently, well-known comic artist and Godzilla fan Arthur Adams selected elements from those initial maquettes and combined them in his interpretation of this super saurian.
