BABY T. REX

Newly hatched carnivorous dinosaurs were probably precocial, i.e. able to fend for themselves after hatching, possibly by preying on small lizards and insects. It's also possible that T. rex babies may have been watched over by a parent, like modern-day crocodiles. When the juveniles grew to a size that presented serious competition for prey, their parents might have driven them away, forcing them to establish their own hunting territories.

Another theory is that juvenile tyrannosaurs may have hunted in packs, like wolves, to enable them to attack animals much larger than themselves.
